Seriously, What-Ever!
Two Early Works
During my early twenties, I was homeless (more-or-less, even if I called it hitch-hiking at the time) and was staying at a friend's house. They were going out for the night. But a typewriter was close at hand. So, I stayed in and enjoyed myself: no doubt, a glass of vodka close at hand.
That's definitely the story for The Missing Piece... and is most likely true for Ultra Clear, even if it wasn't composed on the same night.
I won't comment on the quality (as I can't be bothered to read either at the moment). But if I could trade my entire literary output for 10,000 such as these (365x30, one a night for thirty years), I'd be hard pressed not to make the trade.

The Romantic Life of a Hitch-Hiker on a On-Ramp
I kept a few journals, during my time On The Road. But as I destroyed them sometime in my twenties, they are proving a bit difficult to scan/post, at this remove.
Bad Advice
A Mash-Up Dead-End File Destined for The Bin w/ Little Redeeming Value
Bad Advice (pdf) (
.doc or
.txt): This is the type of file for which DISCLAIMERS are made... or at least, is of the type most folks would never bother to post.
A Western
I wrote these when I was around thirty-five. And as such, they represent (perhaps) my earliest attempts at fiction as an adult. They (most definitely) pre-date Zombie Nation. But whether they pre-date (or were written along-side) Portrait of An Imaginary Friend and/or UFO Attractor's Handbook, I no longer recall.
Adieu
There's more (there's always more) but I've lost momentum. And it will be just as easy to start a new page whenever (or if-ever) the time comes. Besides, I'd like to get this posted before the end of the year.
