Nutty Pecan Balls

1 stick butter
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teas vanilla
dash salt
1-2/3 cup flour
2/3 cup chopped pecans

Roll into balls, press with fork
20min at 350

not too sweet
well regarded around here
